A passionate acoustic guitar and vocal duo
These two talented musicians play a variety of covers from Simon and Garfunkel to The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Their style of music is perfect for weddings, private parties, pub gigs and local music festivals. They pride themselves on being professional and their enthusiasm when playing filters through to the audience providing great entertainment. Smug Jars bring a happy, professional party atmosphere to any event, Great songs, great vibe and a dress sense to die for!
The Smug Jars play 2 sets, the first set is 45 minutes and the second set is an hour, with a half hour break in between. The Full package is recommended for weddings as the DJ set works seamlessly with the Smug Jars set. The equipment would be set up before you arrive at the venue and backing music would be provided all day until the Smug Jars start. All aspects will be tailored to your specific requirements and timings throughout the day. The disco will start immediately when the Smug Jars finish to keep you dancing till the end of the day.
Steve
Steve has been in many bands over the past 30 years including ‘Tony Butler’s Big Noise’, the solo project of ‘Big Country’s’ bass guitarist and ‘Sacred Turf,’ a Cornwall based Folk/Rock band. He has gigged in numerous countries with several bands, duos and as a solo artist.
Simon
Simon has been a resident music performer in Cornwall for many years, involved with numerous bands and projects. He is now a proud member of Smug Jars. Simon has always loved performing, whether as a session musician, to a festival crowd or two men and a dog.
